Privacy information

Summary

Next Match needs no account and has no ads, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDK. Followed teams, preferences, custom nicknames and images stay on your device. Loading content and enabling reminders send the information described below to our server.

Information we use

• Queries: Search text, team and competition information let us return match data. We do not retain search text or full request contents. A nickname you type into search is also sent as search text.
• Usage statistics: Content requests include a random installation ID and authentication credential. We record successful request categories, counts, and the first and last access times each day for each installation to understand usage. These summaries cover the latest 30 calendar days.
• Installation identity: On launch, the app automatically creates or reads an ID and credential in secure device storage, then reuses them. Creating this local identity alone sends nothing. Our server retains the ID and a credential digest to prevent impersonation, not the original credential. The device identity may remain after uninstalling.
• Reminders: When you enable them, your installation ID, device notification identifier, followed teams, lead time and notification language are sent to and stored on our server to send reminders.
• Custom images: We process only images you select with the system photo picker. Saving images and nicknames does not upload them to our server.
• Network information: Connections process your IP address and basic request information for communication, security and troubleshooting. We currently do not retain per-request access logs.

Service providers

Alibaba Cloud provides servers and networking. Apple uses the device notification identifier and reminder content to deliver notifications. Our server retrieves match data without sending your device IP address to the data provider.

We do not sell personal information or use this data for ads or cross-app tracking. If disclosure is required by law, we limit it to what the applicable law requires.

Manage or delete your data

• Unfollow teams, remove custom images or restore defaults in the app. Deleting the app clears these local settings and preferences.
• After you disable reminders and the change syncs successfully, we delete your notification identifier and team subscription. Match delivery records and installation authentication information remain to prevent duplicate sends and impersonation.
• Uninstalling does not disable server-side reminders or immediately erase server records. Disable reminders before uninstalling. Stopping use stops new usage requests.
